Jeanne-Marie Sens began writing and recording songs in the early 1970s. Her inspiration is at once melancholic, poetic and protesting, in front of a world increasingly dehumanized. In 1973 and 1974, she gets success and notoriety with her protest songs "En Plein Coeur" (music by Jean-Pierre Pouret) and "L’Enfant du 92e" (composed with Lowery with music by Pierre Rapsat). Jeanne-Marie Sens gives the impression to better live in an imaginary and fantastic world, more beautiful than reality, as tend to confirm the many records she wrote for children
Jeanne-Marie Sens began recording in the early 1970s, including adopting the Giani Esposito song Les Clowns in 1972, released the following year by the Warner label. Her inspiration is at times melancholic, poetic and refractory in the face of an increasingly dehumanized world
