Justin Adams and Juldeh CamaraThe Trance SessionsReal World. The Gambian musician Juldeh Camara and Justin Adams, an Englishman lled, have become one of the best-regarded duos in British-based world music, coupling Camara’s scratchy one-stringed fiddle with Adams’s rockabilly guitar. On this EP, their best recording yet, Adams’s interest in North African trance music comes to the fore. The three tracks here are all extended, two of them to nearly 15 minutes. Adams’s guitar phases in and out, in repetitive repeated riffs, Camara’s ritti rubs away, and Martyn Barker’s thrashing drums provide relentless drive.
Justin Adams and Juldeh Camara’s three albums have proven connection nejvýbušnějšího from British guitarist Justin Adams (ex-Robert Plant) with Juldeh Camara, the singer from Gambia and the African player of the violin Ritt.
