After she learns that her husband might be having a romantic relationship with another woman, she plans to leave the marriage and move in with her sister
A new version of Last. Theme Form "The Dark At The Top Of The Stairs".
The setting is a small Oklahoma town in the early 1920s and the home of the Flood family. Here we find Rubin, a traveling salesman for a harness firm, Cora, his sensitive and lovely wife, Sonny, their little boy and Reenie, their teenage daughter. The plot consists of a series of short stories - the fight between a husband and wife; the fear of an overly shy young girl on going to a dance; the problems of an introverted little boy who feels that the whole world is against him; the corroding marriage of Cora's rowdy sister; and the tragedy of a military school cadet who suffers
So, step by step, the mice climb the creaky stairs, growing ever closer to the dark shadows-until they are whisker to whisker with the creature who lives at Is it true that a monster lives at the top of the stairs? Three young mice decide they must see for themselves and ask a wise old mouse to take them there. He warns them of the danger-yet they still insist on going. So, step by step, the mice climb the creaky stairs, growing ever closer to the dark shadows-until they are whisker to whisker with the creature who lives at the top of the stairs! Full color. Some young mice are convinced that there is a monster living at the top of the stairs. What happens when they finally work up the courage to climb the steps is pretty cute. The illustrations by Ivan Bates are just lovely, and very atmospheric.
Sonny has a fear of the dark. Determined to get him to stand up for himself, Rubin attempts to teach him to box. While sparring, he inadvertently strikes the boy too hard. Cora, now incensed, tears into Rubin, eventually accusing him of having an affair with Mavis Pruitt, a local widow. A livid Rubin slaps Cora, then storms out of the house. Reenie witnesses her parents' dispute. She runs into the street, causing a motorist to swerve and strikes a tree.

The Dark is the second full-length album released by Metal Church. It was released on 6 October 1986 and was the last album featuring the group's classic lineup of David Wayne, Kurdt Vanderhoof, Kirk Arrington, Duke Erickson, and Craig Wells. 1999's Masterpeace album reunited the former four, with John Marshall replacing Wells. Top of the Stairs (popularly known as TOTS and for a period of time in the mid-1980s and early 1990s was called The Balcony) is a bar and restaurant in Blacksburg, Virginia, near the Virginia Tech campus. Established in 1978 and located at 217 West College Ave, TOTS is popular among Virginia Tech students and alumni due to its history, proximity to campus, signature mixed drink known as the Rail, and Tuesday night karaoke. The establishment's name comes from the large staircase leading from the street to the front entrance.
