Mandragora biography MANDRAGORA got started in 1984 as a temporary project by Alejandro PUENTEEN (keyboards) and Ernesto POMBO (drums, flute). At the end of 1987, they recruited Damian TISSOT (bass, guitars, voices), and since then Emesto had also played as a vocalist concurrently. MANDRAGORA independently recorded their material for the debut studio album in 1992, and finally released the stuff titled 'Pecado Tras Pecado', with their debut single (and video clip) 'La Mueca De Las Maquinas' in 1993 via Tommy Gun Records. La mandrágora (The mandrake) is the first live album of the Spanish singer-songwriters Joaquín Sabina, Javier Krahe and Alberto Pérez, which was recorded live and released by CBS in 1981. Sabina, Krahe and Alberto Pérez used to perform together in the basement of a bar called "La mandrágora" (The mandrake) located in the La Latina neighbourhood of downtown Madrid.
