But Gargoyle doesn’t just thrash. And then there’s the slow, atmospheric doom prog of ‘Ruten No Yo Nite’. The high-pitched female vocals may throw some people off, but it’s a brilliantly constructed song full of interesting riffs and even a violin solo that became the mould that would shape practically every longer Gargoyle track in the future. This album revels in the upbeat, the jovial, the dark and the brutal. Every facet of the band's career is once again present here, but unlike Misogi, I don't find any of the songwriting to be shaky or underdeveloped.

Gargoyle is said to be a pioneer of visual kei bands and also as the leading authority on hard music scene in Japan. Beyond their mysterious visuals, they are renowned for a strong band that has worked their way up to the present position from the first. They are looked as the king of live music clubs that triumph the career for more than a quarter of a century. In April 1991, 3rd album 璞 (Aratama) was released. a set of three musical compositionsog ‘禊〜檄〜璞 ). 1993 In May, they released 4th album 天論 (Tenron)’.

Heavy Metal Gargoyle (USA).

Super Battle Gargoyle. 0. Super Battle Gargoyle.

Gargoyle, Mark Lanegan's fourth album under the moniker the Mark Lanegan Band, opens with a song called "Death's Head Tattoo," and given the singer's chronically gloomy outlook on the world around him, that title sounds like it could be the height of cliché in Lanegan's hands. But thanks to his intelligence as a songwriter and his gifts as a vocalist, even under the worst circumstances Lanegan would deliver something worth hearing, and "Death's Head Tattoo" turns out to be more perceptive than one might have feared

At times, Gargoyle casts off its own shackles. On Beehive, Marshall’s exuberant guitars lift Lanegan out of his doldrums. The change in temperament is so welcome (imagine taking Dostoyevsky to a summer barbecue) it’s easy to overlook the fact that the song is basically a U2 tribute. But then, Lanegan reminds us of this album’s main issue when he sings of a gargoyle, perched on gothic spire
