Identity Crisis (Sweet album). Identity Crisis is the ninth and final studio album by English glam rock band Sweet. Originally released only in Germany and Mexico via Polydor Records, it was recorded from 1980–81 and finally released after the band's break-up in 1981. All songs written and composed by Steve Priest, Andy Scott and Mick Tucker except where noted.
Identity Crisis is the debut album by American post-hardcore band Thrice, originally released on Greenflag Records in June 2000, then re-released in 2001 by Sub City, a branch of Hopeless Records. A portion of the proceeds from Identity Crisis went to the charity "Crittenton Services for Children and Families". Thrice's previous recording, the limited self-released First Impressions EP (1999), also featured a version of "T & C". The album was recorded and mixed at For the Record in Orange, California. The song "Madman" is only featured on the original.

In concert, the Identity Crisis seduced fans with their elegant new wave outfits and ethereal sound. The group paid homage to their foreign post-punk influences by covering new wave radio hits such as Xmal Deutschland's "Matador" and the Adventures' "Two Rivers" in concert; there were even quotes from Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "Happy Hi" on "Whispering Castles" and the Clash's "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" on "My Sanctuary.
The album kicks off with Tell Me More, a hard rocking track about being in love with someone who might not be right for you, and finishes with Riddle Me This, which just has a certain finality to it that brings the album to a close and on a really high note. Whoever was in charge of picking the singles did a pretty damn. Or consider a donation? End of year lists.
