Fun House is the second studio album by American rock band The Stooges. It was released on July 7, 1970 by Elektra Records. Though initially commercially unsuccessful, Fun House developed a strong cult following. Like its predecessor (1969's The Stooges) and its successor (1973's Raw Power), it is generally considered integral in the development of punk rock.

Born into the 90's is R. Kelly's collaboration album with his group Public Announcement. Released in January 1992, the album became an R&B hit with the success of singles such as "She's Got That Vibe" (the album's biggest hit in the UK, at "Dedicated," and Kelly's first two R&B hits: "Honey Love," and "Slow Dance (Hey Mr. DJ. Honey Love topped the Billboard R&B Singles chart for 2 weeks, while "She's Got That Vibe" and "Slow Dance (Hey Mr DJ)" hit the Top 40 respectively

It made for an album that could appeal to everyone from new age receptionists to dubheads to prog-rock pharmacists. Lest it be forgotten, this is also one of the most supremely hypnotizing drug albums ever. There are more rocket launches here than a New Years' Eve Kiss concert in Los Alamos. Scott Walker's retreat from the public eye in the 1980s only assisted his ascent into the realm of the avant-garde. His 1984 Climate of the Hunter LP hinted at a newfound interest in eclectic ambience but was nothing compared to the creative supernova of 1995's Tilt. Here, Walker's music wasn't completely removed from his classic 1960s existential baroque-pop, but rather allowed to evolve naturally into a bizarre and engaging dark suite of art-songs.

This album is much more than a grunge album. Should at least be top 10 just for being the greatest Hip Hop album in the 90s and arguably of all time. Illmatic needs to be higher on this list.

The greatest album covers of the '90s. 40. Pet Shop Boys ‘Very’. One nice thing about CDs was that the hard plastic format allowed designers to experiment with molds and textures, like this studded, hazmat-like case from the always image conscious Pet Shop Boys. 39. Spiritualized ‘Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space’. This druggy masterpiece came packaged like medicine, with the CD sealed like a giant pill under foil inside a plastic bubble. Any talk of ’90s music design would be remiss without Mark Robinson. Best known for fronting Unrest and running Teen Beat Records, the . area indie icon was a designer’s designer, referencing Pantone cards and printers’ guides in his clean, bright works. His giddy Air Miami project nails it. Advertising. 34. Nation of Ulysses ‘Plays Pretty for Baby’. Dressed like French leftist spies, Nation of Ulysses were not your older brother's punk band.

Into the great wide open' started out as potentially another Tom Petty solo record, but it eventually became a full-scale collaboration with his longtime backup band, the Heartbreakers. This shift in Petty's conception of the album enabled him to combine the unduplicable power of a long-standing band of rock & roll confederates with the new directions he has pursued with Jeff Lynne, the new album's co-producer and Petty's fellow Traveling Wilbury. On her second album, My Life, Mary J. Blige shows a rare gift for pouring her heart into a recording, to make her soul come through the speakers.
