Unplugged: The Complete 1991 and 2001 Sessions is a 2014 live album from alternative rock band . The album is composed of two performances that the band made on the . television show MTV Unplugged. Among the album's 33 tracks are 11 performances which were not aired on either broadcast.
MTV Unplugged and released music videos for each song on the video album This Film Is On. The MTV Unplugged session of "Losing My Religion" was recorded with members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in Madison, Georgia, at Madison-Morgan Cultural Center. After spending some months off, . returned to the studio in 1991 to record its next album. Late in 1992, the band released Automatic for the People. recorded the majority of its twelfth album Reveal (2001) in Canada and Ireland from May to October 2000.

Featuring revealing, never-before-seen footage, . When I was made to listen to the Green album however it was the beginning of a long musical relationship. I'm sharing that story as an illustration of the diversity of the band's music and I did feel that that came through in this documentary. By using mostly (or maybe only) existing footage from the entire career of REM one does put together a picture of a very diverse group of creative people that somehow not only survived longer than most bands but also managed to create some of the most enduring pop music throughout that time.

It was a typical Athens story, drummer Bill Berry says in the clip.
