Logos Live is the fourth live album and eighteenth overall by Tangerine Dream and was released in December 1982. It is a live album from the concert at the Dominion Theatre in London, England. Much like Tangram with short movements connected by atmospheric segues, Logos captured a period of Tangerine Dream's evolution from experimental to melodic, documented also by their soundtrack to the motion picture Risky Business a year later.
The tracks 'Logos Part 1' and 'Logos Part 2' from the original album have been joined on this release to create the single track 'Logos'. Release artwork information varies, with 'Tangerine Dream Live' on front cover & spine, 'Tangerine Dream Live 1982' on rear & CD silkscreen.
My favourite live Tangerine Dream album, recorded in the 1980s in London. Very well structured and extremely listenable, featuring the band at their best during the Virgin years. Répondre Notifiez moi 1 Helpful. Much like the live albums that came before and after it (Encore and Poland), Logos has become a firm favourite of Tangerine Dream fans: particularly those who like the group's improvised, solo-based nature. That said, Logos is probably the most 'songy' sounding live record of the group's classic period, with the 40 minute piece being made of several very distinct sections.

Logos Live is the fourth live album and eighteenth overall by Tangerine Dream and was released in December 1982. From the two-hour concert, 50 minutes of music original to the concert was included on the album. The releases of Logos Live do not split parts one and two, but these thematic sections have been remixed or re-recorded and used in other albums as separate tracks. Some CD releases combine parts one and two into a single track.
TANGERINE DREAM Logos - Live At The Dominion - London 82 (1982 UK lLP recorded in concert at The Dominion London that year picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear with a bit of edge scuffing and the vinyl remains in excellent condition & looks barely played V2257). All of the music for this album was laid down at a single concert, held at the Dominion Theatre, London, on 6 November 1982 and is almost entirely free of any studio overdubs - facts that will of their own speak volumes to long-standing aficionados of Tangerine Dream's live albums. The main track of this disc consists essentially of a 10-part suite constructed from musical ideas drawn from the band's soundtrack for Michael Mann's film, "The Keep", which went on general release the following year
