Fuck Nas by Cormega feat. You're Getting a Little Too Smart by Detroit Emeralds (1973). was sampled in. Le Chant De L'amertume by Tandem (2001).

Cormega and Screwball remade that song in 2000 without NaS. Then 2004 NaS remade the song for the I10th Anniversary release of Illmatic rerecording his original '94 verse then adding 2 more verses. That's why at the end of the 1st verse Nas says this verse is 10 years old. Phil Phillmatic Wilson said 5 years ago: This is all wrong this song was actually recorded in 94 when Cormega first came home, a group called Kamakazee was also on the track.

Yea (House of Hits) Finally up in this nigga On the real, all you crab niggas know the deal On the real, all you crab niggas know the deal To my seed, May I lead you into no breed of evil In the categories and stories I breed my sequel You know the money, blues, blunts, broken 22's Monkey see, Monkey. do A shorty sipping sunny dew Now its . Now its verbal abuse cause the mic's in use This is your sorry excuse Get your neck put in a noose K-L is quick to let loose, to make your blood count reduce Over the snare drum We reproduce like cum Impregnating the track, making it fatter than it was Giving life to idea Through the verse.

The album, which featured predominant mafioso rap-themes and production from Dr. Dre and the Trackmasters, was criticized for its mainstream, pop-orientation. Their debut album was the group's only release and they disbanded in 1999 with each member continuing their solo careers. Cormega had been ousted from the group and was replaced by Nature prior to recording The Firm's debut, due to artistic differences between him and Nas, as well as contract disagreements with Nas's manager Steve Stoute
