Time To Think (2002). Live At Blues West 14 (2006). Live At Blues West 142006. Time to Think is Mo Foster's third solo album. Most of the tracks were written whilst Mo was on a trip to New Zealand. The album was conceptualised as a soundscape of acoustic instruments and to that end was recorded in a small Oxfordshire church, picked because of its beautiful acoustics. Mo describes it as "evoking memories of friends, sunshine, long journeys and laughter".

This is psychedelic rock with piercing fuzz guitar on some tracks thanks to Paul Rudolph. Paul had just finished the Deviants album and brought that guitar sound to this lp. Pretty trippy lp with good consistency thru out! Reply Notify me 1 Helpful.

Maybe it's just that 2002 saw such a steady influx of Top 20 contenders that we never had a moment to come up for air. At no time in the last year did our staff feel "on top" of music; it was constantly kicking our collective ass. It took almost as much time to narrow this list to just 50 records as it did to write about them. Comets on Fire's breakthrough second album may be the year's most psychedelic dirty bomb. This American quartet came armed with MC5-grade vocalist bravado, a half-dozen amateur percussionists (read: "drunk friends") and a multi-pronged guitar attack: Ethan Miller knocked axes with guests Ben Chasny and the Fucking Champs' Tim Green on "electric destruction guitar," "floating guitar," and other effects-laden, imaginary instruments, all detonated through Noel Harmonson's omniverous, sound-stretching Echoplex
