Juicy is an album by jazz percussionist Willie Bobo recorded in 1967 and released on the Verve label.

Volume 3: Spring Mix. DJ Paul & Juicy J. Released 1995. Volume 3: Spring Mix Tracklist. More DJ Paul & Juicy J albums. Volume 2: Da Exorcist. Volume 1: Da Beginning.

The latter LP, from 1998, is generally considered the moment the genre shifted into the aggressive and minimalist form of techstep it's most known for today, full of growling basslines and crystal-clear production (other classic records in the style include Dom & Roland's Industry album and Konflict's "Messiah"). He has also released music under the alias of Mr L and was one half of the UK garage duo True Steppers. View the full artist profile. Powell, Zomby, Peverelist and Overmono remix Jonny L's classic track 'Piper'.

A Juicy 3:46
This is a rather odd release for Piranha Records. All of Jonny L's releases there were solely drum n' bass except for this one. 'Juicy' was released at a time when he was dipping into the 'True Steppers' garage productions and I imagine that his own imprint was the quickest and best place to let this out in the world. While some dispute that this is an unofficial white label, Jonny cites this as a Piranha promo. This was indicated for some time on his web site, and should his new site be resurrected with a discography, it'll likely re-appear in the list as it was before. This is actually a pretty cool release. It's got his signature bass lines rolling through the track. The song is probably the slowest of his I've ever heard. All in all it's pretty unique record. I'd actually recommend it!
