Look to the Rainbow is a live album by Al Jarreau, released on May 27, 1977 by Warner Bros. It marked a breakthrough for his career in Europe and later also in the US. In 1978 it won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Performance. In 1976 Jarreau made his first live appearances in Europe, starting with concerts at the jazz festivals in Montreux and Berlin. The following year he began his first tour through 16 cities in Europe starting with a gig at Onkel Pö's in Hamburg.
Al has always been a krazy guy but has always been a huge help with knowledge behind everything he sells. have always been top notch as well. I live in atlanta now and miss going there to just grab some strings or a instrument and end up spending a hour or more. I think Crazy Al's Mega Music store is a very important part of our community usic. I don't know where I'd be if music wasn't part of my life. There's a feeling you get when you hear an instrument in the hands of a child and see the spark and excitement in their eyes that inspires me to help spread the joy of those moments because I know it will follow them all of their years.
On tour: no. Upcoming 2019 concerts: none. Saturday 15 July 1967. Stampede Corral, Calgary, AB, Canada Stampede Grounds.
